End-User Licence Agreement (EULA)
for Parrot Replay Software
Version 1.0 – Effective Date: 17 November 2025

This End-User Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of Parrot Replay (“the Software”), developed and distributed by Parrot Replay Software (“the Developer”).
By installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to all terms below.
If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.


1. Licence Grant

The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use one copy of the Software on a single personal computer for lawful personal or commercial use.
Ownership of the Software remains with the Developer.


2. Ownership and Restrictions

The Software, source code, design, graphics, and documentation remain the exclusive property of the Developer.

You may not:

Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.

Sell, rent, lease, redistribute, or share the Software or any licence key.

Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or attribution notices.

Use the Software for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.

Use of the Software is entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and platform terms.


3. Recording and Consent Responsibilities

The Software may record, replay, and process in-game or online voice-chat audio.
You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable recording, privacy, and data-protection laws and any game or platform terms of service.

You must not record, edit, or distribute another person’s voice without consent where required by law.
The Developer makes no representation that such actions are lawful in your jurisdiction.


4. Misuse and Consequences

The Developer is not responsible for misuse of the Software, including but not limited to:

Offensive, harassing, defamatory, or unlawful playback,

Violations of game or platform rules, or

Account bans, suspensions, or penalties.

You accept full liability for all consequences of your conduct and agree to use the Software responsibly and respectfully.


5. Third-Party Software Dependencies

The Software relies on third-party audio-routing components developed by VB-Audio Software to function properly. These include:

VB-Audio Virtual Cable (Free)

VB-Audio CABLE C+D Pack (“Donationware” – minimum donation required on the official site)

Users are presented with two download options for the CABLE C+D driver:

Official VB-Audio Download (Minimum Donation Required) – strongly recommended, as it supports the original VB-Audio developer and ensures access to the latest verified version.

Community Archive (Free) – a public, community-maintained mirror hosted on Archive.org for users unable to contribute.

Important Notice:

Parrot Replay does not host, modify, or redistribute VB-Audio software.

The Archive.org link is provided for informational accessibility only.

The Developer assumes no responsibility for the legality, accuracy, or availability of third-party links.

All rights to VB-Audio products remain with VB-Audio Software.


6. Payment Processing

All payments for Parrot Replay licences are securely processed by Stripe, Inc. 
Parrot Replay Software does not collect, store, or have access to any credit card numbers or other sensitive payment information.

By completing a purchase, you agree that all billing, transaction handling, and payment validation are performed exclusively by Stripe in accordance with their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Users must ensure that all payment details submitted through Stripe are accurate. The Developer is not responsible for payment processing errors, declined transactions, bank rejections, or any security measures enforced by Stripe.


7. Activation and Hardware Identification

To activate the Software, a hardware ID is generated locally from system components and converted into a secure hash.
This identifier cannot be reversed to reveal underlying hardware information and is used only to generate and validate licence keys.

If your hardware changes significantly (for example, replacing your motherboard), your licence may become invalid and require reactivation. Replacement licences are granted at the Developer’s discretion.

Hardware identifiers and licence requests may be voluntarily shared by the user through external platforms such as Discord for activation purposes.
These communications are subject to those platforms’ privacy policies, and the Developer assumes no responsibility for their data handling.

The activation process itself is entirely offline.


8. Data Protection and Privacy

The Software does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.
All configuration and licence data remain local to your computer.
No telemetry, analytics, or remote monitoring are included.


9. Updates and Modifications

The Developer may release updates or improvements at any time.
A future version may include an optional update-check feature that only requests public version information from an official Parrot Replay distribution page (for example, a verified website or software repository).
This feature will never transmit personal or system data.

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.


10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You assume all risk regarding quality and performance.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of data, profits, or account access, even if advised of such possibilities.


12. Termination

This Agreement remains effective until terminated.
It terminates automatically if you breach any term.
Upon termination, you must uninstall and delete all copies.

Because activation is offline, licences cannot be revoked remotely; continued use after a breach constitutes unauthorised use.


13. No Endorsement or Affiliation

Parrot Replay is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by any game developer, publisher, or platform provider.
All trademarks belong to their respective owners.


14. Verification and Authenticity

Official releases are published solely by Parrot Replay Software.
Verify authenticity using provided hashes.
Any modified or repackaged versions are unauthorised and unsupported.


15. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed under the laws of the United Kingdom.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.


16. Entire Agreement and Severability

This document constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Developer.
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining terms remain in effect.


17. Ethical Use Reminder

Parrot Replay is designed for entertainment and creative use.
Please use it responsibly, respectfully, and within the law.


18. Acknowledgment

By installing or using the Software, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.

Privacy Policy for Parrot Replay

Developer: Parrot Replay Software

1. Introduction

Parrot Replay operates entirely offline and is built with privacy in mind.
It does not automatically transmit personal information to the Developer or any third party.
Some limited system information is processed locally to generate and verify licence activation.

By using the Software, you agree to this Privacy Policy.


2. Data Collection and Processing

The Software performs no telemetry, analytics, or background data collection.

When you request a licence, a local licence-request file is generated containing:

A one-way SHA-256-hashed hardware identifier (Hardware ID),

Your computer name,

Your operating-system name, and

The date and time of generation.

This information is shown on-screen and is only shared manually if you choose to send it to the Developer.

If you send your licence request through Discord or another platform, that communication is subject to the respective platform’s privacy policy.
The Developer may retain the message (including the hashed hardware ID), your email, your Discord username (if provided), and any Hardware ID you provide solely for verification, anti-abuse, and reissue purposes.
It is never exported, resold, or used outside Discord, and may be deleted upon request.

Once a licence is issued, the Developer does not otherwise store or reuse request data.


3. Audio Recordings

All recordings remain stored locally on your device.
You control creation, deletion, and sharing.
The Developer has no access to your recordings and bears no responsibility for their content or distribution.


4. Third-Party Software

Parrot Replay interfaces with third-party audio-routing utilities from VB-Audio Software, including:

VB-Audio Virtual Cable (Free)

VB-Audio CABLE C+D Pack (Donationware – minimum donation required on the official site)

Users may choose between:

Official VB-Audio Download (Minimum Donation Required) – strongly recommended to support the VB-Audio developer, or

Community Archive (Free) – a community-maintained mirror on Archive.org.

Parrot Replay does not host or control these downloads and is not responsible for their privacy practices.


5. Payments and Third-Party Processing (Stripe)

If you purchase a licence through the official Parrot Replay website, payments are processed securely by Stripe.
When purchasing, Stripe may collect information such as your email address, payment method details, billing country, and transaction identifiers.

Parrot Replay Software does not receive or store your full payment details.
Only the following may be visible to the Developer through Stripe’s dashboard:

• Your email address  
• Your Discord username (if you provide it in the checkout form)  
• Your Hardware ID  
• Basic order metadata needed to deliver your licence

Stripe’s handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe’s own Privacy Policy and terms.

No payment information is stored by Parrot Replay Software outside Stripe.


6. Data Security

No user or hardware data ever leaves your computer automatically.
Licence files and recordings are stored locally.

If a future version includes an optional update-check, it will contact only an official Parrot Replay distribution page (such as a verified website or repository) to compare version numbers.
No personal or system data will be transmitted.


7. Children’s Privacy

The Software is not intended for children under 13 and intentionally collects no data from them.


8. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically.
The latest version will always ship with the Software.
Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.


9. Summary

Licence requests use local-only hashed system data.

No telemetry or background collection.

No automatic transmission or cloud storage.

Recordings remain entirely under user control.

Developer retains licence request data only if voluntarily provided through Stripe checkout or Discord.
